beautiful...the light/shadow work and the model...tone of the eye is superb...
mc: thank you
Wonderful photo - I would be proud of it too. Great contrast yet retaining detail on LHS of her face, despite use of flash. Very sharp. Mike
mc: Thanks very much
Your right, you can't go wrong with someone like her in front of your lens, none the less It's a beautiful image that I perhaps would have use the flash on all of her face, thanks for that tip.

mc: the flash was about 1 meter from her face shooting through a white umbrella, tried some shots with the flash on the other side too , may post one of those at some stage, thanks for your comments
Great shot, beautiful model, excellent lighting, beautiful compositon and BW conversion.
Since you are in a red ShMood, I feel comfortable indicating that the image is a bit oversharpenend on the sharp areas, you were a bit "sloppy" (forgive me my command of the englsh language here, can't find the right word) on her upper lip, a small part above her lip remains sharpened while I think you would like it softened.
mc: red ShMood? anyone can always comment on anything , i don't pay attention to the ShMoods.. I agree that the 'lighter' side is a bit overprocessed compared to the dark side, I actually tried to get it about the same , but somehow the darker side didn't work out so well, will have to stick to processing on my normal pc , this was done with my laptop, not a great screen and a bit rushed..i know excuses, excuses
thanks for dropping by and commenting, appreciated
Love everything about this...looked through your archive and your photos are fabulous.
mc: thank you, i try my best ;-)
